Barra Energy

Founded in 2015, Barra Energy provides quality engineering solutions, operational management support and dedicated experienced personnel to the oil and gas sector.

Located in Aberdeen we provide our engineering, management and advisory services remotely to major international and UK based independent oil and gas companies using various communication platforms. Onsite supervision can be provided when requested by our clients.

We have a select team of engineers, supervisors and specialists who are mapped against our rigorous competency management system. This ensures our clients receive a flexible service that:

  • Reduces time and cost to deliver
  • Provides training and development of their junior engineers
  • Has the back-up of the Barra Energy technical team regardless of the size of the project
  • Abides by our Quality Management System, and if required our clients specific requirements
When Barra Energy was started in 2015, we made a company mission that included:
  • Building a successful company into the vendor of choice
  • Providing quality engineering solutions to the energy sector
  • Reducing travelling time, working from home where possible

We are happy to say that we have achieved these and continue to work towards them to this day.

Our DNV ISO 9001:2015 accreditation for the “provision of engineering consultancy, project management and supply of competent personnel to the onshore and offshore energy sector” ensures our clients are provided with an exceptional level of service quality. At Barra Energy we keep things simple, therefore we have committed ourselves to the FPAL and SEQual system principles and will continually update our feedback letting our clients know how we perform. We encourage safety and reporting of any incidents that is why we have included links to the HSE.
